Aims & Scope

The Tarih Tetkikleri Dergisi aims to play a role in the academic publishing process by focusing on studies conducted using primary sources in historical research. Articles of this nature are considered for publication following the peer-review process.

In line with this objective, the journal includes articles related to the fields of Ancient, Medieval, Modern, and Contemporary History, as well as the History of the Republic of Turkey. It also provides space for studies in world history and political history. Furthermore, articles from other social science disciplines are accepted, provided that the subject is addressed within a historical context.
